In more mundane terms, Alchemy analyzes the ongoing conversation on the English speaking web, identifies expressions of sentiment about entities and extracts the contextual theme for which the sentiment was expressed. We analyze approximately 400,000 distinct pieces of that conversation on a daily basis and track over 3 million people, products, companies, characters, politicians, places and brands.
